Technology leadership across teams, products, and business priorities.

EGTEC opens conversations about decisions that cross engineering teams and shape products: technical direction, organizational growth, and the balance between customer needs and business goals. The practice is led by Egor Elizarov, whose experience spans multi-team engineering and product delivery at Picnic and TomTom. Bring the challenge you are working through.

Where a conversation may help

Technical direction at product scale

Technical choices can shape more than one team's work. At Picnic, backend strategy and reusable architecture for the Store platform were aligned with product and business goals. The platform supported a mobile product serving 4M users.

Organizing for growth

As a product grows, ownership and leadership structures need to keep pace. At TomTom, Egor grew an engineering group from two people into three teams, defining team topology and developing future managers.

Execution across teams

Shared priorities become harder to maintain across an engineering domain. At Picnic, co-leading eight teams and 70+ engineers included aligning priorities and establishing shared planning for Store platform delivery.

Applied AI exploration

Current experiments

Current work includes building an EM-digest agent and using AI agents in different roles to develop this website. These experiments explore how agents can support product and engineering workflows.

Share what you are working through. The first call is a chance to understand the problem together; a defined project is not required. If there is a fit, a small, well-defined next step can be discussed.
